Description PhobosK 2014-02-15 11:48:55 UTC
There is a new upstream version of bino - 1.4.4
The current ebuild in the portage tree has some problems (bug #499772 bug #482938 bug #473940), so the new upstream version and the new ebuild fixes those.

All is tested with amd64 with and without any of the used flags. It's working and installing ok

Thanks.

Reproducible: Always

@Silvio,
Have you tried this (the attachment above) new ebuild (for bino version 1.4.4)?
For some reason it is still not committed to official portage, so you will need to add it to your local overlay.

If this new ebuild fails, please provide more info like:
- the build log
- the 'emerge --info' output
- your x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers version

Thanks

@PhobosK

everything goes well with your version 1.4.4.
Thank you!
I have a functioning bino installed now.
But ... when it will be in portage?

bye

Silvio

If it isn't picked up in due time, try to reassign to proxy-maint@gentoo.org directly; that usually means that the proxy maintainers can now take care of the rest.
Comment 7 Sven Vermeulen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-05-02 20:15:45 UTC
Committed to the tree. Thanks!
