It's not fetchable anymore.
Comment 5 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2014-02-26 18:51:27 UTC
Sorry, it is fetchable, but is this a fork or how do we know that this is the new upstream?
Comment 6 mAhdi 2014-02-26 18:55:51 UTC
This is new upstream see https://bitbucket.org/skunkos/rssguard#markdown-header-contacts same author as original version (not me). Rewritten to use SQL-backend etc.

cheers

rssguard-3.4.0.ebuild or rssguard-9999.ebuild

The bitbucket repo is deleted by now.

I'm not sure whether this is the same program, but there exist a rss/news-program called rssguard from Martin Rotter here:
https://github.com/martinrotter/rssguard

I've packaged it, the ebuild compiles for version 3.4 and git.

Though it fetches the submodules in the git version. I've explicitly disabled it, don't know where my error is. The submodules contain prebuild windows stuff, that is not in the release tar.

geroin, you may want to have a look at this defect - https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=571028 it contains ebuilds for the git repo.

Submodules problem is part of git-3, if you switch back to git-2 it should be ok.

Forgot to mention 3.3.5 is now in official portage tree (masked).
