I think this is what you are looking for: sys-apps/kbd installs /usr/share/keymaps/i386/dvorak/dvorak-es.map.gz *** Bug 501420 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is not solved, please reopen this bug. I downloaded install-amd64-minimal-20140508.iso and I'm still getting this same error. I had to decompress the image.squashfs to edit dvorak-es.map. Please, solve this. Same issue here, in a fresh install (amd64 from stage 3). I reported this bug long time ago. Nobody did anything, this bug is quite simple to solve. Do I really need to file a new bug report for this? Please report upstream: https://lists.altlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/kbd To be easily accepted upstream, create a patch for data/keymaps/i386/dvorak/dvorak-es.map in the kbd tarball. (Or even better create the patch from the git repo.) When the patch is upstream, ask gentoo to add it to the current kbd ebuild. Reported a week ago, no answer.
