please use the common name for the dependency. I want to convert the flag to global USE flag, and 'qrcode' seems to be the preferred one.

I see that glabels uses also app-text/barcode for USE="barcode". I don't know enough about glabels, but if I guess correctly, it can also do normal barcodes (this in longer block like |||||)  and not just qrcodes (those in small block [x])
sorry my ascii drawing skills suck :)

So, keeping USE=barcode might be the correct thing to do, I'll just close this for now.
