Could you please test the samba-3.0.4 ebuild in bug 48771? (upgraded, among the others, the ldap install path). Did not have the time to test it, but perhaps we're narrowing this thing down. HTH, Christian I tried it with 3.04 but still it does not recognize the ldap server command. any updates to this ? do the newer samba ebuilds (3.0.6) still have this beaviour ? Can you check if openldap is correctly installed ? (i suspect the configure in samba fails to find the ldap libs) closing for now: as mglauche said, no ldap issues were opened on samba-3.0.6-rx (for now ;-) ). Please reopen if needed |
