Description Eugene Cormier 2014-01-25 15:53:50 UTC
if you use media-sound/moc (any version currently in portage) with the ffmpeg use flag and if you have ffmpeg > v1.1 playback fails with error 'Unsupported sample size!'

I need to have ffmpeg > 1.1 so that I can use the concat demuxer, but now my mocp playback won't work unless I remove the ffmpeg use flag and then moc won't be able to play the audio from video files, such as flv, etc...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge moc with ffmpeg use flag
2. emerge >=ffmpeg-1.1
3. try to play something with moc
Actual Results:
playback fails with 'Unsupported sample size!'

Expected Results:
It should playback fine, like with <ffmpeg-1.1

the website I linked to shows that there is a patch upstream in moc commit r2524, so hopefully a version bump on the bleeding edge will fix it

Sorry about that, I searched and couldn't find anything.... I'll be more careful next time
