There is a comment in the source that says we do not redirect stdin because "some daemons may need it". That implies that I might break some daemon out there if I do this. Any thoughts on how to proceed with this bug would be helpful, since I don't know which or how many daemons "might need this". Also, should I consider that a bug in the daemons? There have been no examples of daemons that will break if this was done, so I have fixed this bug in commit 03803ae. This will be included in OpenRC-0.14. |
