Created attachment 368004 [details] build.log When USE="truetype" compilation fails with the message: In file included from /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/plplot-5.9.11/work/plplot-5.9.11/src/plfreetype.c:95:0: /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/plplot-5.9.11/work/plplot-5.9.11/include/plfreetype.h:33:22: fatal error: ft2build.h: No such file or directory I have tried it with freetype-2.5.1 and 2.5.2 with the same results. I have not tried earlier versions of freetype. If USE="-truetype" it compiles fine.
