In this case, the examples shouldn't really be built for 32bit. An ebuild bug in how alstream was implemented. So... how do I go about fixing this? I can confirm that this builds/installs when USE="-abi_x86_32" and when I downgrade to =media-libs/openal-1.15.1 Created attachment 368398 [details]
Fixed ebuild
Since this has caused my world update to fail for a while now and I head a few minutes to spare I took a stab at fixing it:
The problem seems to be that the ebuild only sets a value for -DEXAMPLES when configure is called for the native ABI and the cmake file defaults to on.
The attached ebuild simply forces EXAMPLES to OFF for the non-native ABI and the build works again for me.
I has the same PRoblem as described.
