Reassigning to sandbox. @sandbox / @toolchain: any ideas? Attempting to rebuild sandbox itself results in the same error: checking whether we are cross compiling... * ../../sandbox-2.6/libsandbox/libsandbox.c:check_syscall():879: failure (Value too large for defined data type): * ISE: abs_path: (null) res_path: /var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/sandbox-2.6-r1/work/build-x86/conftest.out configure: error: in `/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/sandbox-2.6-r1/work/build-x86': configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs. If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'. See `config.log' for more details This problem appears to date at least as far back as the 20131024 stage3 tarball. i don't suppose changing the kernel version makes a difference ? that's a pretty weird error. what if you use a current stage3 (that includes glibc-2.17) ? As there's nothing release can do here, I'm removing us from CC. If you need us, please add us back. |
