Kopete containing the workaround is in the tree, so nothing left to do for KDE team. At the moment, you can't build kopete-4.12.5 (in stable) with otr because it depends on the masked version of libotr. Does it work with libotr-4.1.0 and kopete-4.14.3? While I encouter rare crashes with OTR (last time was several ago), I doubt that they are related to this particular fix. All versions <kopete-4.14.3 have been removed. Please report back if the bug still exists with recent versions. |
