Description shad0VV 2014-01-05 22:15:26 UTC
Without ldap build is ok, but using +ldap flag, it fails with an error on linker. I am not 100% sure that it has to do with this flag, but since enabling it causes this issue.

Reproducible: Always

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: warnquota.o: undefined reference to symbol 'ber_bvecfree'
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: note: 'ber_bvecfree' is defined in DSO /usr/lib64/liblber-2.4.so.2 so try adding it to the linker command line
standard underlinking - the recent plague. it will take awhile to get the tree sorted out.

I've got the same, using 'LDFLAGS="-llber-2.4" emerge quota' doesn't work here as the econf fails then.

should be fixed with newer quota-4 ebuilds; stabilizing in bug 545586
