Where? The one from https://github.com/engineyard/loudmouth/releases looks different and also 5 years old :/ (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #1) > Where? Thus I expected 1.5.0 to have changes beyond what's currently in the tree. If I was wrong, feel free to close this bug. I am a bit hesitant to bump taking care all distributions are providing our version (even patching that one) instead of 1.5, I doubt if it could have any problem that was noticed years ago but we now forget :( The issue with loudmouth is that at some point, maintenance was almost stopped with no clear upstream or upstream repository/bug tracker, etc. Iirc there was an attempt to release 1.5 but it was not a release from the original upstream and as pacho said, all distros disregarded it. To me, loudmouth is a dead project and I'd rather encourage its users to move away from it. Actually it was in my list of "old packages that needs to be retired". Checked this again and nothing changed since last year. imendio it self is dead and replaced by another company, various github repository indicated this library is unmaintained and do not even contain 1.4 tags. https://github.com/mhallendal/loudmouth Imho there is nothing to do here besides waiting for last rite of this library. |
