![]() Did you read ebuild and output of 'equery f pjsip' before opening this bug? pjsip-2.1-r1 is one of the most broken packages in entire tree. It installs only static libs and does not respect libdir: /usr/lib/libg7221codec-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libmilenage-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpj-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjlib-util-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjmedia-audiodev-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjmedia-codec-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjmedia-videodev-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjmedia-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjnath-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjsip-simple-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjsip-ua-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjsip-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libpjsua-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libportaudio-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libresample-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/libsrtp-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.a /usr/lib/pkgconfig/libpjproject.pc is broken too: prefix=/var/package-manager/tmp/portage/net-libs/pjsip-2.1-r1/image//usr Did you report that issues to bugs.gentoo.org? If you would have opened the script wouldn't open one :| Please start opening the bug reports for each issue (I am unsure about the static-libs issue being really a blocker, there are tons of packages installing them already). Anyway, this will be needed by bug 486852 also, then, we will need to take care of some if that issues soon :( Please, don't get me wrong, I welcome that you tested this :), only try to explain that the way to prevent things like this (specially with orphan packages) is to remember to report the bugs when you find them ;) UnCCing arches for now then Unmaintained + total screwup = no stabilization. |
