Oracle released a new version of sqldeveloper on december,12.

SQLdeveloper 4.0.0.13.80 bring new features and requirements as java 1.7.

diff from the old ebuild

Trivial changes (new homepage url and higher JDK requirement) were not enough. With version 4 the folder layout changed, so I updated the file list in src_install() to include everything that the new package contains. The program installs and works fine, so I didn't change anything more.

You didn't read comment#1 where I said I need an updated manifest as I have no account to get the tarball.

Manifest for 4.0.2.15.21

By now, version 4.0.2.15.21 has been released and seems to be working flawlessly with the patched (and appropriately renamed) ebuilds provided in this bug.

I have attached the appropriate Manifest file that has worked for me. Please note that both the ebuild and $FILESDIR shell script are the very same like in the linked github overlay, only the zipfile has changed.

Is this patch still needed? I can't see it being used in your latest attachment.
