my bag. gaim-encryption-2.25 is masked. However. Why is the gaim-encryption-2.25 package fine to exist on the system and gaim-smileys is the conflicting package that prevents the emerge -UDp from progressing???? You probably have some oddly incomplete sync where gaim-0.77 is unmasked by gaim-encryption-2.25 isn't. 'emerge rsync' and try again. Roger please check back to confirm that this is working for you. I do nightly syncs, and this appeared consecutivly thoughout the days. however, seems to be gone now ;-) Closing |
This is odd. the gaim-smileys-20031002.ebuild states: KEYWORDS="x86 ppc sparc alpha amd64" However, I get this with emerge -UDp world: >>> --upgradeonly implies --update... adding --update to options. These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating world dependencies / !!! all ebuilds that could satisfy ">=net-im/gaim-encryption-2.25" have been masked. !!! possible candidates are: - net-im/gaim-encryption-2.25 (masked by: ~keyword) !!! Problem with ebuild x11-themes/gaim-smileys-20031002 !!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem. !!! Depgraph creation failed. To resolve, I simply unmerged gaim-smileys. Leaving gaim-encryption installed is fine when doing an emerge -UDp world after words.
