Description Al Cutter 2004-04-29 10:17:43 UTC
Hi,
here's an ebuild for the Sun ONE Message Queue Platform Edition,
an /etc/init.d/imq, /etc/conf.d/imq, and a copy of the license.

The Java System Message Queue Platform Edition is an implementation of the Java Message Service (JMS) Specification. It is designed for small-scale deployments and development environments.

You can read more about the message queue here:

http://wwws.sun.com/software/products/message_queue/index.html

I think this ebuild only depends on java 1.4.

Al.

Comment 5 Karl Trygve Kalleberg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-02 13:34:28 UTC
Be warned that ebuilds for Sun-programs have a very low priority, since we
are not allowed to mirror them, and thus cannot guarantee their availibility.

This is compounded by the fact that Sun change the binary contents of their
files without changing the version in the filename, thus breaking our md5sums.

We will attend this when we have enough time to take on maintenance of it. If
you can find another alternative, that we are allowed to copy onto our
mirrors, we'll try adding it very quickly.

Could any of these implementations work for you?

If so, please tell us, and we'll try making an ebuild for it.
