i am using sys-kernel/gentoo-sources, but at it not possible to use epatch: http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki//etc/portage/patches

to patching  if even its needed: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488492


so i would like to asking for epatch for gentoo-sources-*.ebuild in portage

Works perfectly fine here:

 * Applying user patches from /etc/portage/patches/sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.4.70 ...
 *   handle-unadvertised-pcie-bridges.patch ...

We already do this as per /usr/portage/eclass/kernel-2.eclass:1182
