If systemd is installed, it would be very useful for the app-admin/salt ebuild to also deploy the systemd unit files for salt. 

These are provided by upstream at this URL: https://github.com/saltstack/salt/tree/develop/pkg

Patrick, I have seen the tarball from:
https://github.com/saltstack/salt/releases

contains that systemd units, while out tarball not :/, do you know why we are using the other tarball?

Upstream recommends using the pypy one as the auto-generated github ones aren't considered the official releases

Then, are you able to contact upstream to ask them to include the unit files in the pypy tarball too? (if they don't like, we can use them anyway, but probably other distributions will also benefit from that :))

I am not particularly interested in talking to upstream about systemd stuff. You are welcome to contact them if you want to.
