please bump
Comment 1 Josh G 2013-11-30 22:25:43 UTC
Renamed phpmyadmin-4.0.6.ebuild to phpmyadmin-4.0.9.ebuild and built 4.0.9 without incident.

Works fine.

Possibly phpmyadmin-9999.ebuild is in order, due to very frequent project updates.
Comment 3 Julian Ospald 2013-12-27 22:21:08 UTC
I will fix this in 2 weeks myself unless the maintainer does comment on this.
Comment 4 Josh G 2013-12-29 23:40:44 UTC
Thanks Julian. PHPMyAdmin 4.1.2 works fine as well.

Feel free to take the package.

(Taking your nice try of a threat literally, I commented now, so you wouldn't bump it?)

A threat? I am just following procedure as outlined in
http://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/ebuild-maintenance/index.html

"Otherwise a soft limit of 2 to 4 weeks depending on the severity of the bug is an acceptable time frame before you go ahead and fix it yourself."

So you don't want to maintain this anymore?
Comment 7 Julian Ospald 2014-01-08 12:53:51 UTC
no answer from the maintainer and I stopped caring.

I already told you, you can take the package if have more time for it.
At any rate, that doesn't fix the bug. Please stop being that childish.

I do not intend to take the package.

Now I am the childish one after your first irrational response? Hard to take that one seriously.

Julian / Alex,

this is a public medium. Please improve your behaviour in public.

Alex,

if you don't mind, I want to do a phpldapadmin update, so I can look at this while I take care of it.
