Bug 491174

Summary: app-emulation/lxc-0.8.0-r1 - lxc-ps and lxc-netstat fail to find the cgroup mount point
Product: Gentoo Linux Reporter: Alun Jones <auj>
Component: Current packagesAssignee: Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) <flameeyes>
Status: RESOLVED OBSOLETE
Severity: normal CC: dev-zero, hwoarang, saintdev, virtualization
Priority: Normal
Version: unspecified
Hardware: AMD64
OS: Linux
Whiteboard:

Runtime testing required: ---

Description Alun Jones 2013-11-13 15:23:48 UTC
These three scripts try to find cgroup mount points by looking at /proc/self/mounts. However, the regular expression they use doesn't match the format of /proc/self/mounts on recent kernels/versions of Gentoo.

As a result, the scripts die rather than producing their intended output.

Oddly, lxc-ls has the correct regular expression.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1./usr/sbin/lxc-ps --lxc
2./usr/sbin/lxc-netstat -n container_name
Actual Results:
1. lxc-ps: no cgroup mount point found
2. lxc-netstat: no cgroup mount point found

Expected Results:
List of processes running in the various containers.
