Looks like this is a UMASK related problem, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/coreutils/+bug/67583. After 5 years since this bug was reported, it's still an issue. I'll attach the patch that fixes it for me. Created attachment 558342 [details, diff]
Fix for the bug
gstreamer 0.10 has been finally removed from the tree. If this is an issue with the 1.0 series too, please file a new bug against that version. |
