You can use netctl, which is just as versatile as newnet, under systemd. I will try it but i was hoping newnet could be seperated from openrc and then add service to systemd since then newnet would work for openrc and systemd. I successfully set up netctl btw. I dont know if gentoo should just switch to netctl. Why spend development time on netifrc when there is netctl. systemd-networkd netifrc has supported systemd for more than a year. |
