Emerge without unmasking dev-python/python-exec
If you don't want dev-python/python-exec, you'll have do some cleanup in /var/db/pkg. grep -RlF dev-python/python-exec /var/db/pkg/*/*/{DEPEND,RDEPEND} Re-install any packages that finds. You should then be able to eliminate dev-python/python-exec from your system. Also, you don't want to mask it. You want to install dev-python/python-exec-10000.1 which is a virtual package that pulls in dev-lang/python-exec. Afterwards, you may use 'emerge --depclean -v dev-python/python-exec' to see what needs to be rebuilt. After you rebuild all the deps, you can depclean it. |
