same with gtk

something is definitely odd, maybe eselect is missing a symlink or 2?

Unfortunately I installed fglrx for the first time just a few days before opening the bug.

What version of media-libs/mesa are you on?

I saw the other bug report: glxgears and games work flawlessly with ati-drivers.

ati-drivers is dead, and will not be supported for X.
