The requested patch log.

During emerge of wine-1.6, the following message appears:

* Failed Patch: 0002-server-Implement-an-interface-change-notification-ob.patch !
 *  ( /etc/portage/patches//app-emulation/wine/0002-server-Implement-an-interface-change-notification-ob.patch )
 *
 * Include in your bugreport the contents of:
 *
 *   /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/wine-1.6/temp/0002-server-Implement-an-interface-change-notification-ob.patch.out
 * ERROR: app-emulation/wine-1.6::gentoo failed (prepare phase):
 *   Failed Patch: 0002-server-Implement-an-interface-change-notification-ob.patch!

I thought I had wine already installed as 1.6, made then some experiment with 9999 and wanted to go back. But to me the bug seems totally unrelated to this.

Either fix or remove that patch to get this working; as it is located in /etc/portage/patches/, I think there is nothing we can fix on our side.
Comment 3 Jens Stutte 2013-10-26 09:28:54 UTC
I did not do any patching on my own. I am just trying to emerge wine. To remove the patch I should change the ebuild, I assume.
Comment 4 Jens Stutte 2013-10-26 09:31:44 UTC
I clean the /etc/portage/patches dir and retry.
Do not remember how they got tyyheir (might have been part of an attempt to install some exoctic browser plugin, that did nit work)
Comment 5 Jens Stutte 2013-10-26 09:32:52 UTC
OK, compilation starts now. Was not aware of this patch automatism at all.
If it runs through, I'll close this.
Sorry for the noise.
Comment 6 Jens Stutte 2013-10-26 09:42:50 UTC
OK, that was it. Now I remember also what I did, I tried time ago to install pipelight as I wanted Silverlight support. And now I learned, that I never cleaned up as I should. And I learned about that patching automatism - interesting!

Thanx for this hint, and again sorry for the noise.
