Probably fixed with standalone-webkit (as many, many other issues): https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388207 What indicates that this is due to qtwebkit? Have you tried downgrading it? Can you look into the network traffic (in browser or wireshark) at what happens? (In reply to Tom Wijsman (TomWij) from comment #2) > What indicates that this is due to qtwebkit? Have you tried downgrading it? qt-webkit-4.8.* do not really get updates. There are so many crashes, weird behavior, etc. that get fixed by either using qtwebkit-2.3 or Qt5. Btw: Here is a link to a similar bugreport from Qupzilla: https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/issues/448 There MIGHT be a chance to fix this by changing the user agent. Look into the duplicate bug (867) there are commits, you might want to try using that User agent for facebook. I do not have a facebook account, I also won't register, so I can't confirm or track down anything. I'm marking this as a duplicate of 388207, although technically it's not. We should really switch to qtwebkit-2.3... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 388207 *** |
