Currently, gnome-themes-standard installs the Adwaita cursor theme as default by means of a symlink to the default theme, which makes it difficult for users to revert to the built-in X cursors since they have to delete a system file which is remade with each upgrade of the package.

Please consider adding the symlink useflag (by analogy with other packages such as *-sources and lbzip2) to control the above behaviour; it may be enabled by default or not.
