Description Ulenrich 2013-10-23 22:42:46 UTC
I had used these password databases
(my original and backup) 10 months ago
without problems. When I tried now to
open it:
"Hash test failed"

For days I tried to remember my old password,
but didn't come to a clue. Today I saw another
ebuild: ckpass
My password files opened with the old remembered
passowrd without problem.

There must be a serious hash bug, or a change
of format?

To me a critical bug, because I lost days to
recover with another program.

Reproducible: Always

The first I tried to solve the bug myself:
emerge keepassx

in cause there was a new lib introduced
to the system. But this didn't help.

1) Please post your `emerge --info' output in a comment.
2) Please detail the steps you take to reproduce the problem, including the exact commands you issued and their output.
