I'm getting SIGSEGV when i'm typing following:

eix adobe-flash --format '<bestversion:depend>'

The complete error is:
Received SIGSEGV - you probably found a bug in eix.
Please proceed with the following few instructions and help us find the bug:
 * install gdb (sys-dev/gdb)
 * reemerge eix with FEATURES="nostrip" USE="debug"
   or with FEATURES="nostrip" CXXFLAGS="-g -ggdb3" LDFLAGS=""
 * enter gdb with "gdb --args eix your_arguments_for_eix"
 * type "run" and wait for the segfault to happen
 * type "bt" to get a backtrace (this helps us a lot)
 * post a bugreport and be sure to include the output from gdb ..

Interestingly this doesn't happen if i compile eix with FEATURES="nostrip" and USE="debug" which i suppose todo to create an backtrace. Sadly, that's why i can't provide an backtrace or at least one which might be useless..

For whatever it's worth, this appears to be fixed in version 0.29.6, which is currently in ~amd64.  Additionally, I can confirm that the same error occurs in 0.29.3 on x86 (i.e., it is not confined to amd64).

This is probably bug 483392 which was fixed in eix-0.29.4
