www-client/htmlview is seems abandoned by upstream and should be removed(see bug #480522).

In discussion, which you can see in URL, somebody mentioned, that  www-client/htmlview is optional dependency and is used only if no environment variable BROWSER is set.

So, please provide some kind of compatibility solution, if it is possible, cause www-client/htmlview will be treecleaned soon, thanks.
