The fcitx-configtool seems to require the fcitx-gclient library. fcitx seems to install this library only when the dbus useflag is set. As this is not represented in the dependencies, the install failed for me until I found which useflag was responsible.

I'm not sure what fcitx-gclient is or why it would require dbus, so maybe someone more familiar with fcitx can have a look whether this is right nor not. I don't recall having problems with fcitx before due to useflag issues...

As it fails during install, can you please attach the complete build log and comment with the output of the command `emerge --info =app-i18n/fcitx-4.2.8.1`?
