File-Pid-1.01.ebuild
A reiteration of my comments on bug #485224 This should enter tree as File-Pid-1.10.0.ebuild And upstreams dependency list ( https://metacpan.org/source/CWEST/File-Pid-1.01/META.yml ) says at the very least, DEPEND and RDEPEND should have >=dev-perl/Class-Accessor-0.190.0 to satisfy "requires: Class::Accessor::Fast: 0.19" Also, DESCRIPTION should just be "Pid File Manipulation", straight from upstreams abstract, as you're otherwise simply naming the dist in DESCRIPTION, which is akin to having a description saying DESCRIPTION="dev-perl/File-Pid - Pid File Manipulation", which is redundant. ( If you put the module in it to make it easier to search for, then you're looking in the wrong place, these days, we make a habit of putting module names in metadata.xml , for instance, check out /usr/portage/dev-perl/Moose/metadata.xml ) Submitted a pull request to the perl-experimental overlay https://github.com/gentoo-perl/perl-experimental/pull/21 Is anyone still interested in this? Where is it used? Seems not. |
