Steps to Reproduce:
1. regular emerge (all ok), perl 5.18.1 installed (after 5.16.3)
2. call perl-cleaner --all
3. crashes when emerging dev-perl/Crypt-DES-2.50.0

Interestingly, on CPAN there is no version Crypt::DES 2.5 only a 2.07

1) Please attach the entire build log to this bug report.
2) Please post your `emerge --info' output in a comment.

One would mean that after years of Gentoo usage (and bug reporting) we would know what is and what is not relevant from the logs. ;-)

Anyway - closing that report as obsolete, because we migrated back to 5.16.3 which works. Crypt-DES package 2-50 (read 2.05) is obsolete on Gentoo and at the time we will again migrate to some 5.18 (or later) Perl all of this may be sorted out already.
