apps like gentoolkit cant be installed now

who will resolve this show stopper ?

Please explain the problem.

1) Please post your `emerge --info' output in a comment.
2) Please post the output of the command you ran (and which presumably failed).

Perhaps the argument is that given python 2.5 and 3.1 were dropped from the tree, virtual/python-argparse-1 could be significantly simplified ?
