I can reproduce test failures using reference implementations from sci overlay. Which lapack are you using? atlas is fine. I see the same 63 test_arpack* failures in sci-libs/scipy-0.12.1 on ~amd64 with python2.7, 3.2 and 3.3. eroen@falcon ~ $ eselect blas list Installed BLAS for library directory lib64 [1] reference * eroen@falcon ~ $ eselect cblas list Installed CBLAS for library directory lib64 [1] gsl * eroen@falcon ~ $ eselect lapack list Installed LAPACK for library directory lib64 [1] reference * eroen@falcon ~ $ emerge -pOv sci-libs/blas-reference sci-libs/gsl sci-libs/lapack-reference These are the packages that would be merged, in order: [ebuild R ] sci-libs/blas-reference-20070226-r2 USE="-doc" 0 kB [ebuild R ] sci-libs/gsl-1.15 USE="-cblas-external -static-libs" 0 kB [ebuild R ] sci-libs/lapack-reference-3.2.1-r1 USE="-doc" 0 kB Please see whether this is still valid for scipy 0.14/0.15. |
