This is another instance of the ever-recurring threads problem. Compiling with -threads works just fine.

This is not a threads issue. Please apply upstream patches so that 5.4.18 and 5.5x will build properly. Thanks

Can you reproduce with ZTS disabled?

Anyways, 5.4.18 is still ~arch, so I am not adding any patches.

A fix is coming in the next php version, which will be released soon.
