*-macos readded @arm there're new deps for ipython-1.0.0: dev-libs/mathjax app-text/pandoc @all Feel free to use.mask nbconvert if you're unwilling to play with haskell ;) ~arm added, nbconvert masked in arm profile. For ipython-1.0.0 keyword on ppc and ppc64 you will need to provide a keyword list, because there are a lot of dependences that need to be keyworded first. As a shortcut, how do you feel about adding this to profiles/arch/package.use.mask? dev-python/ipython mongodb nbconvert notebook qt4 smp This would reduce the dependencies to just dev-python/simplegeneric. If someone on ppc needs these optional features, we can address it later. The only one I might question is "smp"; if we leave that unmasked, we will need to keyword dev-python/pyzmq and several indirect dependencies. I'll try that now and give this another go. I'll try that now and give this another go. Okay I got this with the following masking: dev-python/ipython doc matplotlib mongodb nbconvert notebook qt4 doc depends on mongodb, which is broken. smp worked. I didn't try relaxing nbconvert notebook or qt4. And matplotlib looks like monster! Maybe we can try relaxing some of these maskings in the future, but for now, we at least have ~ppc and ~ppc64 on iptython-2.* The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=0e43192fd73bb55e4043cdcdccbb2cf1210d7c0e commit 0e43192fd73bb55e4043cdcdccbb2cf1210d7c0e Author: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2022-01-15 23:48:31 +0000 Commit: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-01-16 01:01:32 +0000 profiles/arch/arm: shift dev-python/ipython[nbconvert] mask to stable Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/481462 Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> profiles/arch/arm/package.use.mask | 4 ---- profiles/arch/arm/package.use.stable.mask | 4 ++++ 2 files changed, 4 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) |
