termite is a keyboard-centric VTE-based terminal, aimed at use within a window manager with tiling and/or tabbing support.

Please, add termite to the portage tree.

(There are working ebuilds in my overlay, "eroen-overlay" in layman. It can be re-licensed on request from a prospective maintainer. http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=user/eroen.git;a=tree;f=x11-terms/termite )

Afaik, termite requires a patch to x11-libs/vte ( https://github.com/thestinger/termite/blob/master/expose_select_text.patch ).
