don't think we can be of much help, the output doesn't really say what's wrong, but it's most like unsermake related. I think you are right. I got it to work now. It seems simply unsetting $UNSERMAKE wasn't sufficient, and I actually had to remove it from my /etc/env.d/blah setting as well. Sorry for the troubles. Perhaps unsermake can be included in portage where ebuilders can have the option of utilizing it? At the very least, this could prevent further portage problems regardless of whether Gentoo developers actually used it or not. Thanks for helping out anyway. unsermake is in portage...Look in the Desktop area of the forums. Wow - that was quick! Thanks man. closing as a cantfix as it seems unsermake related. |
