I'd suggest net-dns/jmdns but that's only my opinion Hello, The comment of Daniel Black made me realize that I never said that JmDNS is first of all a development library... If I look at the contents of net-dns, there is only tools and servers in it. But you may find libraries in dev-perl (Net-DNS) and dev-python (adns-python). In JmDNS, the tools are only examples of how to use the library, so I thought that the principal place was dev-java. Guy In portage, thanks! |
