Description Thomas L. Kjeldsen 2004-04-15 21:06:47 UTC
As I expect several packages to support bluetooth in the future I suggest introducing a bluetooth USE flag to let users indicate that they want to enable bluetooth-related options when they install packages.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Hm. Well, here's a counter-argument: most, if not all, bluetooth stacks implements the RFCOMM protocol which provides emulation of serial ports. If an application is able to interface with a serial port it is in fact able to interface with devices through Bluetooth, IdDA or old fashioned serial cable. Hence, there may be no need of a bluetooth USE flag.

Thomas, Please provide list of packages and show they have the option to select bluetooth options in their normal compulation steps. Patches to ebuilds would be very much appreciated.
