The reason I haven't been able to look at the install problem is because it doesn't even compile for me :-( (Do you use gcc 2.x btw? gcc3.1 hre which may cause my problem). Will continue to investigate. I get the same error. I use gcc 2.95.3 I'm not one to keep bugreports updated, I know... Anyway I've faced various compile problems with koppper (not the reported one), and the upstream project looks abandoned/dead (a bug reported together with a fix several months ago has not recieved a reply yet). Which I suppose is fairly probable for such a small project which doesn't seem to haev ever been very widely used... I propose removing it from portage as dead upstream and not very important. BTW for win-popup im'ing I suggest cvs kopete (get a cvs ebuild at www.gentoo.org/~danarmak/kde-cvs.html). Posted an RFC about deprecating kpopper on the m/ls. kxicq2 is now depreciated. As such we will not fix the bugs in it. |
