I also think we should provide this feature. It's part of the actual zfs distribution and works without a flaw. Confirming the ebuild part of attached patch works! Vote +1 This should be fixed in 0.6.3-r1. As per the new policy on small files, the dracut module is installed unconditionally. |
Created attachment 354548 [details, diff] Add 'dracut' use flag to zfs ebuild The Dracut module supplied by ZFS on Linux works great. We should be able to choose to install it. The attached patch offers one way to do that.
