(we would pull it from a renamed gnome-base/gnome[classic] USE flag, from currently unused "fallback" one) ping! (this is vital to offer Classic mode) ping! ping! If you want to test it, I can give you access to an armv7 device. It's not the speediest of machines, but it is a quad core. But I don't know how to run graphical stuff there :(, is that possible? (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #6) > is that possible? I mean "remotely" It would be slow, but can enable X forwarding, sure. Can't you run it locally? If my connection is really slow even opening firefox remotely, I am really unsure about running full gnome in that way :( Will wait until a user requests it as clearly this arches don't have resources to do this for now The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=4affa172278ad093bae8e55247c587144fb0df9b commit 4affa172278ad093bae8e55247c587144fb0df9b Author: Georgy Yakovlev <gyakovlev@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2022-01-13 01:25:08 +0000 Commit: Georgy Yakovlev <gyakovlev@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-01-13 01:26:06 +0000 profiles/arch/arm64: unmask gnome[classic] Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/478254 Signed-off-by: Georgy Yakovlev <gyakovlev@gentoo.org> profiles/arch/arm64/package.use.mask | 4 ---- 1 file changed, 4 deletions(-) |
