I have to add the host system is 64Bit system and the guest system is 32Bit. After switching to gcc-4.7.3 'ermerge sbcl' fails with Segmentation fault. It fails also after doing 'emerge -uvDNe system' and upgrading to sbcl-1.1.9: #<ASDF/LISP-ACTION:TEST-OP > ((#<ASDF/LISP-ACTION:TEST-OP > . #<ASDF/SYSTEM:SYSTEM "sb-simple-streams">)) * make: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/contrib/sb-simple-streams' make: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/contrib/sb-sprof' /var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/src/runtime/sbcl --noinform --core /var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/output/sbcl.core --lose-on-corruption --disable-debugger --no-sysinit --no-userinit --eval '(compile-file (format nil "SYS:CONTRIB;~:@(~A~);~:@(~A~).LISP" "sb-sprof" "sb-sprof"))' </dev/null /bin/sh: line 1: 11974 Segmentation fault /var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/src/runtime/sbcl --noinform --core /var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9/work/sbcl-1.1.9/output/sbcl.core --lose-on-corruption --disable-debugger --no-sysinit --no-userinit --eval '(compile-file (format nil "SYS:CONTRIB;~:@(~A~);~:@(~A~).LISP" "sb-sprof" "sb-sprof"))' < /dev/null make: *** [sb-sprof.fasl] Error 139 root@lynxvirt:/usr/local/portage/dev-qt/qthelp(41)# emerge --info '=dev-lisp/sbcl-1.1.9::gentoo' !!! I've informed the upstream; hope they will help. is this still valid with 1.3.5? |
