As we discussed by mail, the current 'YYYY/MM/DD' format is not really standard and may be a bit confusing. It would be great if LDAP used ISO8601 'YYYY-MM-DD' instead.

Robin has already pointed out that we need to check/fix at least:
- retirement scripts
- website XSL

YYYY-MM-DD isn't all that much more clear.  Gentoo has standardized on the unambiguous form "07 Apr 2014" in many of its files (like ChangeLogs), so why not use that instead ?
