pelican is essentialy file format transformation tool. It's usage is generation of files to serve as www pages but it is not a web application. I don't know nikola, but if they are same as you claim, I think it could be argued the other way around - nikola should not be in www-apps. I'm with yac on this. I've previously had discussions about this with others. See also: app-text/webgen www-apps/nanoc www-apps/pyblosxom I seem to remember a few others, but I can't find them now. |
