is this symlink gone? /usr/lib64/libmysqlclient -> mysql/libmysqlclient.so.16.0.0 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 474952 *** (In reply to Julian Ospald (hasufell) from comment #1) > is this symlink gone? > > /usr/lib64/libmysqlclient -> mysql/libmysqlclient.so.16.0.0 Starting with 5.5 series (noted by the so.18 by the OP) and a few days ago, mysql/mariadb no longer creates symlinks in /usr/lib(64). The eclass now installs an LDPATH env.d for runtime and the mysql_config script should be used by all build systems. This particular build is only missing an -L/usr/lib64/mysql which the script would have provided. Any news? There are no symlinks needed, read the bug report. I did not wanted that paraview should create symlinks. I supposed that using of mysql_config could maybe remove this bug. BTW., comment 22 of https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474952 says that this bug is not a duplicate of bug 474952. + 24 Jul 2013; Julian Ospald <hasufell@gentoo.org> paraview-4.0.1.ebuild: + update REQUIRED_USE, fix automagic enabling of qt4, fix building with latest + dev-db/mysql wrt #475492 |
