Lumiere is a GNOME frontend to libxine from the xine project. It has the looks of XMMS or Winamp and integrates seemlessly with the Gnome Desktop. It uses most of the Gnome technologies available (Intercommunication, configuration registry, session management...).

Lumiere 0.5 is out, and the corresponding ebuild is expected.

'and the corresponding ebuild is expected' this sounds really really bad (like you order us to add it).

lumiere has always been terribly broken, probably isn't maintained and i can't even find a homepage. (provide it)

Could you please make an effort to fill out at least a usable report ?
